I leaned
patting his hand and said "No I did for you, God is here working through me to give them hope." I began to mourn as she walked to meet my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled and said "That's why God gave you to me, baby, to give me hope." We held hands for a moment and at that moment we knew the grace with which we were blessed to be able to give. We are not fans of the church but we are believers. That day showed me the light sweet and loving God.
I returned to college Last night class, with this story in hand. I turned in my project and the instructor read it, then looked at me and said "I can share this?" I nodded slowly as she called the attention of the class.
